I'm a 29 yr old male (me and wife share an account, which is why my name is Mary! lol), only 5'5", and these make me sooo much taller, I absolutley LOVE these! With my shoe's plus these insoles, I stand around 5'8".

Now let me tell ya why I love these puppies so dang much!...

For the past 4 years, every time I buy a new pair of shoe's I would also buy 4 packs of Gel insoles for the heel, 4 air-float foot pads, and 2 full gel insoles, and would stack all these up in both shoe's. I never bought all these insoles for comfort, the only purpose was to look/be taller.

The price of all these insoles alone cost me around $30 buck, just for the insoles, gels, air-float, etc, and all this to gain around 1-1/2 to 2 inches in height! Infact, my wife always tells me "don't forget to put on your high-heels" before we leave the house! lol

Which leads to this product...

I just received these Elevator insoles today from WSWS, and let me tell you, these are gonna save me TONS of money on insoles now!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!!!!!!!!!! Not only am I 2 inches taller, these make me even taller then all my stacked insoles!

As what others have stated, these do push your heel up closer to the brim of the shoe, and this is with me using the bottom part of this Elevator insole, which adds another half inch (optional to use the bottom piece, up to the user).

I wear low-top-LUGZ ("Lugz Men's Dot Com" shoe's, you can see them here on Amazon if you type in the search engine), I have about a inch to inch and a half of heel room from the "heel" to the brim of the shoe. But... This does not bother me one bit! I have been walking around like this for years with my gel insoles (stacked-up), that it is simply normal to me. In-fact, I find it weird and funny feeling to just wear shoe's with my heel stuffed all the way down in the shoe, I'm just so use to it.

These are seriously a life saver for me, they are AWESOME, they make me look and feel so much taller, are very comfy, and once cut to size they fitted my shoe's perfectly! I wear a 8-1/2 shoe, and they are perfect, no need to buy a bigger pair of shoe's. These insoles have lines at the bottom to cut to size, the lines guide the siccors (that the user is cutting with) to make sure these insoles fit your shoe perfectly. I feel that some of the people writing these reviews do not realize that these Elevator insoles need to be cut to size (it took me about a minute to cut both insoles to size).

Now, If you do not have experience walking with these in your shoe's (or experience with stacked gels as I do), it may take some getting use to (not much though), but it should not take long. These are much more comfortable then the way I had my gel insoles set up, they are amazingly comfy! Once you see the extra height you get, you will be HOOKED!

I would not recommend these for running shoe's or EXTREME Low Top shoe's, they need room to breath! And as I stated before, the bottom heel part of these Elevator insoles are optional, they detach from the insole. So if you wish to only have a inch or inch and a half height increase, you can do so with these, but I chose the full 2 inches. Leaving the bottom of these Elevator insoles out will give you more heel room (more then I have).

I HIGHLY recommend these for those shorter men out there, or even taller men looking to gain height. They work wonders for your self-esteem and really make you see the world in a different light.

BTW, I would like to thank WSWS for the great product, they should be charging triple for these baby's!!!

The shoe's I wear are PERFECT for these insoles.
