As someone who wears dress shoes 6 days a week, I've had the opportunity to wear out quite a few shoes and laces. Having two pair of dress shoes with worn out laces, I decided it was time to get the replacement laces for them.

So, I read the reviews on these laces, thought they sounded good and ordered 4 pair to use and have on hand. They were shipped rapidly (way to go, seller!) and I replaced a worn out pair of laces on my favorite shoes today, After a few hours with the new laces, however, I was wishing I had left the old ones in. I tied my shoes at least a dozen times today! After each tying of the shoes, they would loosen almost immediately - even if they stayed tied for a whole hour! The laces prior to that would need retying once a day, twice if it was a really busy day.

All I can say is that these are terrible laces and I will never buy this brand again. Save yourself the hassle and go find some twine or scotch tape to use as laces - it would likely do a much better job.

I have had a severe case of plantar fascitis for over a year. It came on all of a sudden one day. I did have the mnorning pain like is typical, but the bigger issue for me was that I would have debilitating pain causing me to limp severely on weekends when I was on my feet most of the day (vs workdays where a large part of my day is sitting). I have tried therapy, exercise, night braces of all designs and shapes, foot wraps, whole shoe inserts, 3/4 shoe inserts, specialty shoes with built-in arches, etc. After almost a year, I learned that there were 2 things that helped more than just a tiny, tiny bit like all the rest.

First, really extended foot stretches. For me, I get the best results when doing the plank (bonus core and upper body work, too!)

And second, wearing shoes all the time with arch supports. The best thing was the expensive orthaheel sandals, but since their variety is so limited and not very nice even at that, I searched for months trying every arch support insert I could find. I've tried over a dozen and this one by Dr. Scholl's is my favorite. It is both the right size, feel, comfort, but also one of the very, very few that is clear and can be worn with both sandals (since they are clear) and with heels since they bend easily.

I might even stop searching for cures now as with these 2 I have my pain under control!

The product itself is very nice. I wear size 9.5 so I ordered medium, but the shoe trees did not fit snug. I had to return it and order new ones (large).
If you are on the border line for the sizes, I would recommend going for the larger size.

I have a very narrow heel relative to the width of my toes, so I often need to use heel grips in shoes (particularly pumps). These are absolutely the BEST heel grips I've found! First, the adhesive sticks very well inside the shoe, better than the adhesive of every other brand I've tried (and believe me, I've tried a lot of brands). I waited until I wore the shoes they're in several times to be absolutely sure, but the grips are stuck exactly where they were originally placed - no slippage at all.

Second, they are made of leather with a slightly pebbly texture. I wondered if their texture would create snags on my stockings at the heel but they haven't and i think the texture actually creates a better "hold" on the heel. They are perhaps not quite as thick in dimension as some others (particularly compared to gel types) but I need to prevent slippage, not fill a large gap in an attempt to make too-large shoes fit. The fact they stay stuck in my shoes and create a good grip make these the best choice in my book. A+++

I was married outside wearing Jimmy Choo shoes and was searching for proper protection for my stiletto heels. No other heel protector (I bought 3 others) even fit the very thin heel and these stayed on beautifully. I have used Dr.Martens Wonder Balsam for probably 20 years. It is the best cleaner/restorer/conditioner for leather shoes ever. The vaseline-like gel restores the natural oils and conditions leather like nothing else I have ever used. I write this review in hopes it helps someone out there with Plantar from running.

I bought a new pair of running shoes about a year ago and they brought-on Plantar. Every time I ran I had terrible heal pain afterwards. I love to run, but had to give it up. Two years later I tried running again, surely the problem would have been healed? Nope, it came back immediately.

Getting a little fed-up I started trying all kinds of insoles and inserts - expensive professional ones, cheap ones, lots of cushion, some arch here and there. On my 6th try I tried these.

After slowly starting running again with some lingering pain, letting it heal, running, healing, etc, I'm happy to say the onset of pain is completely gone after 3 long runs.

If you need a little arch and have heal pain, this is worth a try.
