I have a very narrow heel relative to the width of my toes, so I often need to use heel grips in shoes (particularly pumps). These are absolutely the BEST heel grips I've found! First, the adhesive sticks very well inside the shoe, better than the adhesive of every other brand I've tried (and believe me, I've tried a lot of brands). I waited until I wore the shoes they're in several times to be absolutely sure, but the grips are stuck exactly where they were originally placed - no slippage at all.

Second, they are made of leather with a slightly pebbly texture. I wondered if their texture would create snags on my stockings at the heel but they haven't and i think the texture actually creates a better "hold" on the heel. They are perhaps not quite as thick in dimension as some others (particularly compared to gel types) but I need to prevent slippage, not fill a large gap in an attempt to make too-large shoes fit. The fact they stay stuck in my shoes and create a good grip make these the best choice in my book. A+++
