IIIbeca Harrison ST Tote,Berry,One Size Review
I really like the look of this bag: the contrast of the black with the peek of aqua is intriguing, then that gorgeous aqua pops out when you open the bag, but despite that I can't love it. Here's why:The leather doesn't compare with the quality of a Dooney or Coach (and though I love the durability of Coach leather I just think Dooney is a better made bag). The leather of this bag is thin and Doesn't have the finished edges of the aforementioned bags (nor the price tags$). The other reason I'm not in love with it is that because the leather isn't substantial it tends to gape open. I realize it is an unzippered tote but you have to keep it pretty close to your body to keep someone from being able to lift your wallet right out if you use it as a purse like I do.
The three stars are for the color combo, the fact that it is leather and that it pretty much holds everything I need (iPad, cosmetic case, bulky key chain and wallet, iPhone in Otterbox, big sunglasses, checkbook, travel umbrella, a paperback and iPod). If it had been zippered or had some kind of closing mechanism At the top I probably would carry it everyday because the empty bag is very light. The Adjustable straps are nice, and easy to change, and it arrived well packaged. The lining can be removed, and that causes it to slump inside the bag, which is a bit annoying but I won't remove it because without the lining it would feel very flimsy and wouldn't have that eye candy appeal. Outside slip pocket is a nice feature.
Not a bad tote, just not worth the price (though some of those Dooney and Coach bags aren't either).
