I have had this tote for almost a decade. I use it as a purse, an overnight bag, a book bag, shopping bag, and I even used it as my diaper bag when Mayhem was tiny. It's taken a real beating and not one stitch is loose. The leather has a gorgeous patina from age, and its once matte leather finish has become somewhat burnished with handling and use. Never once has a trendy person commented on my tote, though I always receive compliments when I carry it. It fits comfortably into my side as I carry it on my shoulder, and the straps never cut into my shoulder or my hand. Empty, the tote weighs not much more than my largest LV Speedy, believe it or not. The durable, heavyweight leather is somehow quite light, relatively speaking. It holds so much! I hesitated to buy it when I did, but it has more than paid for itself considering I previously bought a new canvas tote annually, and just like a Louis or a Frye, I foresee passing this bag on in the future.
