I bought brown. I like the texture of leather. It's not as fancy looking as some of handbags you see at expensive department stores. However, it has rather down-to-earth and natural looking leather. So it doesn't look cheap either. My only complaint is the narrow woven shoulder strap that hurts my shoulder sometimes when I put heavy stuff in it. The leather and the metal parts make the bag a bit heavier than the handbag I used to carry. But I think I'm getting used to it.
